'A Sense of Something Strange looks at a large body of evidence scientists seldom tackle; poltergeists, hauntings, pre and retro-cognition. Considering these seriously and scientifically, the author offers a new, larger model of human personality.'

Archie E. Roy was a professor of Astronomy at Glasgow University and served for three years as a president of the Society for Psychical Research. A leading figure in astrodynamics, celestial mechanics and archeoastronomy, his knowledge of orbital motion enabled him to calculate trajectories for Nasa's first lunar missions in the 1960s.
