£75.00
London: The Aquarian Press, 1964. First edition. 107 pages. Copy from the library of Alexander Lander, Hungarian born inventor and entrepreneur who lived in Scotland for most of his life. His unobtrusive library stamp is on the front-end paper, with a small sticker to spine. Light wear to jacket, text clean and unmarked. Very good example.
A serious look at the philosophy of the Qabalah written in clear and concise prose, an essential text on the practice of the 'true Magical Art'.
Walter Ernest Butler (1898-1978), was a priest in the Liberal Catholic Church, who studied with Dion Fortune and was active in her Fraternity of the Inner Light for nearly twenty years. In later life was active with the Servants of the Light, of which he remained until not long before his death, the mantle was then passed to Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki.
